Ana Valentina – Great Things: A Track About Purpose and Movement

With “Great Things,” Ana Valentina delivers a club-driven Afro house track that goes beyond the dancefloor. Built around a strong groove and uplifting energy, the release carries a deeper intention: one that speaks to purpose, direction, and the courage to follow what truly matters.

At its core, “Great Things” is about that moment when you start questioning where you’re going and what you really want out of life. It reflects the feeling of being in between… not fully lost, but not completely clear either, and the quiet realization that something bigger is waiting.

Sonically, the track blends rhythmic Afro house elements with a driving, club-ready structure, making it equally suited for late-night sets and personal listening moments. It’s the kind of track that pulls you in through movement, but stays with you because of what it represents.

For Ana Valentina, this release is not just about creating a dancefloor experience, it’s about sharing a mindset. “Great Things” carries the idea that everyone has a path, even if it’s not always obvious, and that following your passions is what ultimately creates meaning.

In a space where music often focuses only on energy, “Great Things” adds intention. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the right track at the right moment can do more than make you move: it can make you reflect, reset, and keep going.

DiCAPUA’s New Track ‘Gaita’

DiCAPUA is dynamic House duo that continue to expand their musical journey. Their latest Deep House track, “Gaita,” released on August 15, marks another step in their evolution, reflecting both their early inspirations and their current sonic identity.

Some songs stay with you for years. Not just as something you once listened to, but as a feeling that never really leaves. For DiCAPUA, “Gaita” comes from one of those moments.

When they were around ten years old, they attended a family event where a DJ was playing. At some point, a track came on that immediately caught their attention. It felt different, ethnic, almost hypnotic driven by bagpipes, flutes, and a melody that stayed with them long after the moment passed.

Curious about what they had just heard, they went up to the DJ booth and asked for the track name. It was “Busindre Reel” by Hevia. Later that same day, they searched for it and started listening to it repeatedly. Back then, it became one of those few tracks they would constantly play on their CD players… the kind you never get tired of.

That experience quietly marked the beginning of something deeper. What started as curiosity slowly evolved into a genuine connection with music. As they grew older, they began exploring the electronic music scene, discovering festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC, and imagining themselves being part of that world.

Over time, that vision turned into action. They started producing, experimenting with different sounds, and gradually shaping their identity as DiCAPUA.

Years later, they felt ready to create something inspired by that early moment. “Gaita” reflects that full-circle journey, bringing together the sounds that first inspired them with the electronic direction they have developed today.

More than just a track, “Gaita” is a reminder of how early influences can stay with you and continue shaping your path, even years later.

“Down”, an Afro House song created by Ana Valentina alongside Pansil and featuring vocals from Benji Adeyemo

Down is a warm, atmospheric Afro House release built for those in-between moments on the dancefloor, when the sun is dipping, the energy softens, and the rhythm begins to take over.

Rather than relying on heavy drops or dramatic peaks, “Down” leans into the emotional side of Afro House. The track unfolds gradually, guided by a steady groove and textured percussion that keeps the listener locked into a smooth, flowing rhythm. It’s a record designed for movement and feeling, making it a natural fit for sunset sets or night afro sessions.

The percussion forms the backbone of the track, carrying a pulse that evolves subtly as the arrangement progresses. Layers build patiently, creating a sense of momentum without ever breaking the calm atmosphere that defines the record. This balance between energy and restraint gives DJs space to blend and extend the moment rather than rushing.

Benji Adeyemo’s vocals add a soulful and reflective tone. Instead of dominating the arrangement, the vocal lines glide through the groove, complementing the rhythm and enhancing the emotional warmth of the production.

With “Down,” Ana Valentina, Pansil, and Benji Adeyemo deliver an Afro House track that captures the feeling free with a smooth, rhythmic, and deeply atmospheric feel.

The track is also featured in the artist newly curated playlist of Afro House and Melodic House which is growing, highlighting music that blends groove, atmosphere, and emotion across both styles.

LUA & Jenil Release New Track “Tell Me”

LUA, a Brazilian melodic afro house DJ, teams up with Jenil on “Tell Me,” marking Jenil’s first release since 2022. The track was released on January 16 via Sora Music Group.

The main melodic line sounds like it’s asking something directly, not aggressively, not dramatically, but with a sense of wanting clarity. It repeats in a way that feels deliberate, like someone saying the same sentence again because they didn’t get an answer the first time.

There is a slight sadness in the melody, but it’s not heavy or depressing. It feels more like uncertainty than pain. The notes don’t fully resolve, which gives the impression of something unfinished or unanswered. That unresolved feeling stays through the track instead of being released at the end.

The emotional tone is calm on the surface, but underneath it feels restless. Not anxious, but not settled either. It sounds like being emotionally open while still holding back.

Overall, the song feels intimate and personal. It doesn’t sound celebratory or aggressive. It sounds like a moment where someone is waiting for honesty, or waiting for a response, and doesn’t know yet what they’re going to hear.

Ana Valentina Finds Her Groove on “Maye”

Ana Valentina’s “Maye” is a groove driven Afro House release built for long blends, late hours, and rhythm focused dancefloors.

Rooted in percussive movement rather than drops or bass theatrics, “Maye” leans into the core language of Afro House: cyclical rhythm, patience, and forward motion. The track is designed to roll, not peak, making it a natural tool for DJs who value flow and control over instant reaction.

The percussion carries the record from start to finish, locking the listener into a steady, hypnotic pulse. Instead of dramatic breakdowns, the arrangement evolves subtly, allowing tension to build through repetition and texture. This makes “Maye” particularly effective in warm up sets, sunset sessions, and extended Afro House programming where consistency matters more than spectacle.

Vocals are used sparingly and rhythmically, functioning as an additional percussive layer rather than a dominant hook. This keeps the track flexible across different environments, from intimate club rooms to open air and daytime settings.

With “Maye,” Ana Valentina positions herself firmly within the Afro House lane, delivering a record that prioritizes movement, groove, and longevity. It’s a track built to stay in rotation, not chase trends.
