DiCAPUA’s New Track ‘Gaita’

DiCAPUA is dynamic House duo that continue to expand their musical journey. Their latest Deep House track, “Gaita,” released on August 15, marks another step in their evolution, reflecting both their early inspirations and their current sonic identity.

Some songs stay with you for years. Not just as something you once listened to, but as a feeling that never really leaves. For DiCAPUA, “Gaita” comes from one of those moments.

When they were around ten years old, they attended a family event where a DJ was playing. At some point, a track came on that immediately caught their attention. It felt different, ethnic, almost hypnotic driven by bagpipes, flutes, and a melody that stayed with them long after the moment passed.

Curious about what they had just heard, they went up to the DJ booth and asked for the track name. It was “Busindre Reel” by Hevia. Later that same day, they searched for it and started listening to it repeatedly. Back then, it became one of those few tracks they would constantly play on their CD players… the kind you never get tired of.

That experience quietly marked the beginning of something deeper. What started as curiosity slowly evolved into a genuine connection with music. As they grew older, they began exploring the electronic music scene, discovering festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC, and imagining themselves being part of that world.

Over time, that vision turned into action. They started producing, experimenting with different sounds, and gradually shaping their identity as DiCAPUA.

Years later, they felt ready to create something inspired by that early moment. “Gaita” reflects that full-circle journey, bringing together the sounds that first inspired them with the electronic direction they have developed today.

More than just a track, “Gaita” is a reminder of how early influences can stay with you and continue shaping your path, even years later.
